Marimaca’s prime location, and close proximity to Antofagasta, allows ready access to first class infrastructure and utilities, ensuring low execution risk.

Situated at a low altitude in Chile’s Coastal Copper Belt, 25km east of the port of Mejillones and 45km north of Antofagasta, Marimaca has convenient access to water and power, road and rail networks supplying sulphuric acid and other consumables, as well as deepwater ports.

One of the many reasons Marimaca is such an exciting project is its location, just inland from the capital of copper, Antofagasta, and the port town of Mejillones. Importantly, it is close to all aspects required to build a copper mine.

The Marimaca Copper Project is comprised of eight property areas covering multiple concessions. The concessions share many similar geological characteristics and could potentially form a single deposit. Through a series of acquisitions and purchase options, Marimaca Copper has control over this area, and indeed a considerable amount of land across the region.
