Peter Garner-Winship
Mr. Garner-Winship joined Marimaca Copper in March 2026 as Vice President Finance. Peter is a senior mining finance executive with over 20 years of experience spanning capital allocation, project development, corporate finance, financial reporting and operational readiness in the mining sector.
Prior to joining Marimaca Copper, Peter spent 17 years with Anglo American plc, where he held senior finance leadership roles across both the corporate centre and major project delivery, including on the Quellaveco Copper project in Peru. Most recently, he served as Head of Integrated Planning and previously as Head of Capital Management, leading group-wide capital allocation processes, enterprise valuation and portfolio analysis, and supporting strategic transactions and executive decision-making at executive and board level.
Peter began his career with Deloitte in London and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He holds a First Class degree in Music from the University of Oxford and is fluent in Spanish.
