Our Projects
Marimaca Copper is advancing a portfolio of copper assets in northern Chile. Whilst the Marimaca Oxide Deposit is the Company’s flagship project, Marimaca also controls additional exploration properties at Pampa Medina and Madrugador within the Sierra de Medina region.
Marimaca Oxide Deposit
The Marimaca Oxide Deposit is the Company’s flagship project located in Antofagasta, Chile – one of the world’s premier mining jurisdictions. It is one of the few globally significant greenfield copper discoveries made in the last decade and represents a low-risk development opportunity, given the proximity to the city of Antofagasta and port of Mejillones, with substantial exploration upside.
The Project is rapidly moving forward with its sustainable development plan to produce high-quality copper cathode. Following our 2025 Definitive Feasibility Study, the Project is now rapidly advancing towards a final investment decision, with the intention of becoming Chile’s newest greenfield copper mine.
Pampa Medina Project
The Pampa Medina project is an exploration and development project acquired by Marimaca Copper in October 2024. The drilling campaign at Pampa Medina to date has revealed exceptional results, demonstrating compelling district scale exploration with both copper oxide and sulphide potential.
Pampa Medina lies approximately 28 km from Marimaca’s flagship Marimaca Oxide Deposit (MOD) project and is located within the southern portion of the Company’s broader 14,500ha Sierra de Medina property package with no private land ownership. The claims also include the Madrugador claims which hosts a copper oxide deposit with a historical National Instrument 43-101 non-compliant resource estimate.
